Things that really bug me…

Posted September 12, 2005

  1. Gas pumps without the little prop thing that allows you to let go while you are putting gas in your car
  2. Long preachy e-mails
  3. E-mails that are forwarded more than once…(if it’s important that I see it, you dig down and forward the original)
  4. Arguments that include "the Bible clearly teaches"…(arguments aren’t the problem…it’s all about attitude)
  5. The phrase – "that’s not possible"…sometimes it is…we just haven’t figured out how yet
  6. Politicizing anything (race, religion, hurricanes…you name it)
  7. Arrogance…especially of the preacher variety…(occasionally I get a fleeting glimpse of it in the mirror)
  8. Cats inside the house…(sorry…did I say: "things that really bug me?"…this isn’t about you)

  1. How about when you prepay for gas and the last 50 cents of gas takes longer to pump than the $39.50 of gas before it? Highly annoying.

  2. I'm on board with you with # 6 and # 7! Trying to bring politics into a conversation is just unnecessary. Obviously everyone has different opinions and lets just leave it at that. Also, Not that any type of preacher or minister is called to be perfect, but at least come down off the totam pole. It's tough to have respect for someone when they do that.

  3. I hate things that beep. Alarm clocks, timers, etc. Hate them.
That's why I have weird noises on my phone…but even those start to really annoy me after a while.
