Influential churches

Seacoast was recently listed among the 50 most influential churches in America.  The article can be read here.

It’s an honor to know that a lot of other churches are learning from our mistakes!

  1. SeaCoast Church was definitely influential for me. SeaCoast is the church where I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. God used you to preach the gospel of grace, redemption, and eternal life. At that time in July 2002, I heard the good news thanks to you obeying God's will to share the gospel and teach. I thank God for you and your family. The Surratt family will always have a special place in my heart. Now, Nathan and I will go and spread the good news in Costa Rica and then only God knows where. Thank you for being our pastor.

(chuckle) that's what it's all about sometimes – funny how God works. Noticed the same comment from John Baker & his wife at the Celebrate Recovery conference the other day. Many churches were blessed with the experience of 12 years of "screw-ups" compressed into a one-day seminar so they could jump-start their CR programs.
Loved the "Work" series, Greg. Kudos to all the staff who worked hard making it a very (very) challenging, yet entertaining series.
