Around the world in 10 days…

I recently wrapped up a teaching assignment in India and Sri Lanka.  What an incredible experience, to say the least.  We worked with John Maxwell and Equip to train over 800 leaders in India in leadership principles.  One of the highlights for me is to get to spend time with Dr. David Mohan, pastor of New Life Church in Chennai, India…what a man of faith.  New Life ministers to over 35,000 people each weekend on campus and has a network of churches throughout the area.  I always learn while I am there.

In Sri Lanka, we worked with Pastor Dishan De Silva and the Bethany Christian Life Centre.  In the above picture are two pastors undergoing much persecution at the hands of Buddhist monks in the area.  Both have been beaten and had churches burned.  For more on persecution, especially in India, you can read here.

  2. Thanks so so so much for sharing! I loved the pictures. It is awesome to see the work God is doing in India and how Seacoast is a part of what is going on. Praise God!

  3. What's the chance that you were returning from India on November 16th (final flight into Charleston)? I was returning from Brazil and you were on my Atlanta-Charleston flight. I tried to say hello, but you were well ahead of me on the plane… I am a member of the North Charleston campus.
