Today was the Christmas Celebration at the N. Charleston Dream Center. Hundreds of Adopt-a-Block volunteers spread out through the community, bringing "good tidings of great joy" to every neighborhood.
There were lots of smiles, a few tears, and a sense of fulfillment that's hard to explain.
Parents, kids, friends… all serving together.
You are never too young to adopt a block.
