Jesus later says these words in Mark - "These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men."

Isaiah 12:2 “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” This verse is easier to say than to live. It reminds me of how I struggle to hand EVERYTHING over to God. Intuitively, I know it is true; but, instinctively, I allow fear and doubt to dwarf the salvation and grace He has for His Kingdom.

Be careful about taking credit for what God uses u to do. Pride & arrogance can turn the tables in a hurry. Isa 10:12 (NLT)
