Well I have always been forgiving BUT not completely apperently. I would give the initial forgiveness immediately for the most part however, the not bringing it up again part is where I was lacking. I can truly say that I now know the Real Meaning of Forgiveness. It is to let the event(s) that a person(s) did that hurt you and move on and make a peace with what happened and throw the anger or sadness away for good with regards to that event. Forgiveness for prior hurts is not to be used as a "weapon" later on ever again against that person.

Great insight Mike. When you bring it up again it nullifies the forgiveness.

I haven’t thought of it in those terms before. (not bringing the event back up) Great thought!
