A few thoughts while wondering how long it’s going to take to lose what I found during Thanksgiving week:
I enjoy the artistry of trying to capture moments thru photography.
Going to a game at Clemson will probably be a once in a lifetime experience. (Beautiful campus, if I lived there I’d be a fan, but it’s too far to drive.)
Chuck Colson seems to be a genuinely nice guy.
Somebody’s going to make a movie about this story. I’d pay to see it.
This line from the story sounds like a picture of spiritual warfare: “In other words the worm was designed to allow the Iranian program to continue but never succeed, and never to know why.” Think about that one for a minute.
Putting up the Xmas tree this week was the single most frustrating thing I’ve done year to date.
The fact that I used ‘Xmas’ in the previous sentence instead of spelling it out is going to put someones undies in a bunch. They are going to be tempted to jump to some conclusions about me that aren’t necessarily true.
I’m proud of how Seacoasters are becoming more in tune with the needs of the culture and expressing a more visible demonstration of Christ in the community.
I have a greater appreciation for parents of special needs kids as a result of worshipping together this weekend.
I think the Gamecocks have a chance against Auburn. Next year should be fun. (It’s always about next year, isn’t it?)
Priceless. The value of listening to my son Josh trying to explain to his 3 year old son what ‘homeless’ means, while we were delivering food to the local homeless shelter on Thanksgiving.
I’m going to miss Geoff & Sherry.
That’s about it for now.
So, what do you think?

I am sorry I missed Chuck Colson-I really enjoy listening to him.
Gamecocks: being a Gator fan I wasn’t rocked by their win over Clemson but will say they have a good coach and deserve to win. I will be cheering for them!
I am proud of Josh for his explanation to Miles but in a country like ours why? Please explain to me why some one has to be homeless. This makes me sad to the core.
Special needs; what you see does not scratch the service of what you get; blessings, heartaches, joy, sorrow, amazement it is all magnified in “special needs”
Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday! No pressure for gifts, no stress, just a day to be thankful for all of the blessings and those things that will lead to blessings. A day to reflect on Who and What are important.
We are thankful to have a great family!

Great post!
1) I would love to go shoot photos again – if Jessica ever lets me have my camera back again.
2) I went to see Chuck Colson speak just months after getting out of prison. Love what God has done with his life – reminds us all that God does have a plan.
3)Amazing story of espionage – but an even better application- thanks.
4) I had to DE-light my FAKE tree(take all 3000 dead lights off) – so we could RE- light – should we form a NO XMAS TREE coalition!
5) Yep- we will miss Geoff and Sherry – but I am so excited about all of the new churches that are going to be planted – first Mac- now Geoff – great job!

For a laid back sort of guy, your life sound very fast paced.
Xmas – the way Greeks might spell it.

I loved hearing and meeting Emily Colson. I’d love to see the Special Needs ministry increase at Seacoast. BTW We need volunteers for the Luke 14 Banquet.
Oh and the X in Xmas is Greek for the letter Chi, and is meant to be translated as “Christ”. So, I’m down wit’cha Pastor G.
