Jer 51 Do not put your faith/trust in worthless idols – they have no power. God is not an idol. He is the Creator of all.

Jacob honored God and required his family to do the same by getting rid of all their idols. Gen. 35 Fathers who take the lead in their family, thru God’s direction, are favored by God.
